| I have found that schedwhen (the kschedule function to be precise) properly
creates a "kicked" event that piggybacks on the schedwhen event, and
properly enqueues a turnoff time for the kicked event, which propertly
invokes the deact function for it. But the instrument instance is not
actually deactivated by deact. I can't tell why (yet).
The schedkwhen function does not use a piggyback event, but creates a whole
new instrument instance on its own instead, and monkeys with its scheduling.
Anybody know why deact might not work?
Anybody object to simply removing the insert_event and queue_event
functions used by the kschedule and schedule functions, and replacing them
with code copied from schedkwhen?
