I have noticed that a release candidate for the Qt SDK 5.8 is ready,
and I am downloading it now.

I think it likely that this release fixes the JavaScript context
regression that occurred in 5.8 beta. If that is the case, the HTML5
features in CsoundQt should work again, and I will prepare a hotfix
for the Windows installer of Csound and post it to GitHub.
