I wrote these files, so I suppose I am the culprit. But
when I built the manual last time I did not remember
seeing them. Does John have all the right new sources,
or would it be the case that there are mismatching
sources?

In any case these opcodes are not in 5.03, only in
CVS, so I expect them in the next binary release.

I did an "cvs update" immediately before running make -- why else
would I try to create a new manual!?!
  btw it is repeatable on other machines I use
