HOLD ON!

There is NOT a change of name here. CsoundVST still exists!

What has happened, is that the Silence algorithmic composition classes,
which used to be included in the CsoundVST module, now have been moved into
their OWN module, CsoundAC.

CsoundVST is not included in the Windows installers because of licensing
issues with the VST SDK. CsoundAC IS included, and I should hope that it
will be included in all Csound distributions in the future.

But it still possible to build CsoundVST and to run it!

Regards,
Mike

CsoundAC is a MUCH better name - and a wonderful version of the
program - especially since CsoundVST NEVER ran as a VST on any Macintosh
computer with any commercial VST applications - so it was ALWAYS
incredibly frustrating and confusing to MacUsers.

Sorry if I caused even more confusion.

I am a huge fan of CsoundAC - and always have been frustrated
by the huge confusion caused by the limited VST aspects of CsoundVST
and the (to me) poor choice of a name for that absolutely wonderful
version
of Csound that you developed.
