Not sure. I'll have to do a fresh checkout to see if
it fails to build here. It's a little difficult right
now with in-laws here and cooking (and writing fugues).
But I will try in the next few days.

Just to confirm-- I checked csound out yesterday and get this same error 
on ppc linux.
