The "directions" to which Peter Robinson is referring below, was what I 
forwarded to him (and you, Felipe) from Mike G. - Mike's suggested build 
patch for Soas/Fedora11.

Obviously Peter hasn't made any headway and feels he has beaten his head 
against a stone wall. (I think all of us can empathize with this; I surely 
can.)

Sounds like you've got some good leads here, Filipe. I hope the accompanying 
information is what you need.
