I'm very interested in the possible "bugs" Victor has noticed as well.
Victor, will you (or anyone else) be investigating these in the near future?
I'm vaguely dissatisfied with the results I'm getting with bformdec as well;
but otherwise haven't the slightest idea what to do about it, as things seem
to be "working."
