Actually, since one goal here is to make multi-target installers easier to make, I think it might be a good idea to generate binaries in 'bin32' and 'bin64' directories. What do you think?

It shouldn't break it. I looked at your files and the headers seem to
be copying from a hdr directory which I don't have here.  The other
scripts copy binaries from the current directory and that is exactly
where I plan to leave where they get generated.  It is only the object
files which I am interested in generating in the sub roots, the
binaries remain generated in the current top directory.
