Subject[Cs-dev] Release date
Seeing the other mail and thinking about it, Monday 15 May is good --
follows a weekend when there may be more time, also halfway through a
month which seems sane.
Can be agree on 15 May?

I would like to repackage Winsound by then. Also there are some
manual issues related to the utilities. I would greatly love to fix
pvlook by then as well.

Hi,

Csound 5.02 beta run fine on Windows XP but not on Windows ME. Using
WinXoundPro for compiling and having direct sound, I got the message that
portaudio.dll is not a plugin and so, I cannot have direct sound.

I'm very glad to hear this, as I will have some time following May the
12 (graduation) to update cSounds.com to reflect the current release
status of Csound5 in a more accurate and timely fashion, in an attempt
to spread the software to as many commercial and academic musicians as
possible.

O.K. Then, the fact that I don't have real time audio must be another
problem? What can be the cause(s)?

When you try to specify an audio device that is out of range Csound will
show you a list of audio devices that you can use, try this and see if
your device appears, try -devaudio99 at command line. If could be for
some reason that Csound doesn't see your device? Sorry I can't be more
help, I'm just clutching at straws!

Rory.
