| Hi everyone,
First, I'd like to thank the devs for all their hard work :)
I installed Csound5.07-win32-f.exe and Csound5.07-win32-d.exe and ran
some tests with csound~.
I've been getting a reproducible crash that is somehow related to
csoundReset() and csoundDestroy(). If I call one of these functions,
then activate a non-MaxMSP window by clicking on it, I get an
"Access Violation" type crash. The call stack indicates the crash
happens outside of csound~ or Csound5 code (user32.dll is at the top
at time of crash). To me, this suggests a memory corruption error.
After reading the release notes, I tried removing plugin dll's related
to things that have changed. After removing fluidOpcodes.dll from the
plugins/plugins64 directory, I no longer get the aforementioned crash.
By the way, the test csd's I used did not use fluid opcodes. I hope
this helps someone track down the bug.
Also, I noticed an error message saying that portaudio.dll could
not be found. However, there is a file called portaudio_x86.dll in
the bin directory.
Thanks,
Davis
