i just saw that the release notes for csound 6.00 and 6.00.1 are not 
visible in the Preface>What's new section. a screenshot is attached.

i am using 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/csound/files/csound6/Csound6.00.1/Csound6.01_manual_html.zip/download 
(with csoundqt).

thanks, francois. i can see now the release notes for 6.00, but not for 
6.00.1. not sure if there are any.

by the way, your server is far faster than sourceforge ...
