I just rendered this with CsoundVST from csound5, the latest code, and it worked fine, though the amplitude was low. I renormalized it and it sounds kind of cool, low gongs and a repeated treble bell or gong. This works fine in csound4 but doesn't seem to work with csound5, using the same generated CSD file. Csound5 does not report any errors, such as dropped notes or missing opcodes or anything like that, so I'm a bit stumped. If anyone has time to check into this file, I'd appreciate it very much. Hi Michael, I apologize, I did not explain the issue very well. The bell sounds are rendered fine, but there are FOF vocal lines that should be rendering. With Csound4, this is the case, and with Csound5, it is not the case. You can also test this file if you download Cecilia; it is the example CybilFOF that comes with the program (If I remember correctly Cecilia comes with a version of Csound, so by using it you can find out what it should sound like). Thanks for taking a look, at least it looks the FOF voices not rendering isn't a specific case to my own system as the phenomenon occurs for you as well. steven gogins@pipeline.com wrote: >I just rendered this with CsoundVST from csound5, the latest code, and it >worked fine, though the amplitude was low.
