Subject[Cs-dev] successful build on Demudi 1.3
Greetings:

Just a quick report. I built and installed Cs5 from the source tarball
yesterday with this support:

    PortAudio/MIDI
    Fluidsynth
    JACK
    ALSA
    CsoundVST

I ran scons at its defaults, adding only buildCsoundVST=1. Compilation
was fast, and the binary performs as advertised. No stress tests yet,
but I checked out some realtime I/O, it seems to be working all right.

Btw, all necessary devel packages were available from the Debian
repository, including boost and SWIG. Nice.

As always, vast thanks to all the Csound developers !

Best,

dp

Dave,

perhaps you could suggest to the DeMuDi people to offer Csound5
as part of their distribution (instead of whatever version 4 they might have).

Certainly. I'd like to see them get rid of the old package. Btw, I think
Fernando is also still packaging an older version in Planet C.
