| That's great!
I will be merging my latest sources for CsoundVST back into csound5 CVS.
These sources for the most part should not require any changes to the
existing csound5 build; if they do, I will consult with CSOUND-DEV.
After that my priority will be a mingw build so Csound and CsoundVST on
Windows can run without the Cygwin DLLs.

Subject: [CSOUND-DEV:4404] Success
After only a 2hr struggle I have managed to build csound5 on my
university machine, and it runs. Not tried realtime as that might
disturb the secretary (and I am at home). Still it feels good to me
able to return to developing the code.
Issues: at present i have broken the fout opcodes. As they used code
that is no more they need reworking. Might require some thought on
how to specify the formats.
libsndfile latest version (1.0.7) has more formats that the previous
1.0.5. I suspect we need to have a version of libsndfile flag, as
Michael suggested.
There are way too many compiler warnings; I will work through them as
I have time.
There are still design issues that concern me, but I am too tired now
to start that hare.
