| Hi David,
As mentioned by Istvan, the dssi opcodes aren't ready yet, only ladspa
plugins are currently working. I've had some time these last few days
and I expect to finish them this month. The implementation of dssi
opcodes has proven more difficult than I expected as dssi opcodes
communicate with the host through OSC, so it involves setting up OSC. I
have already trivial_synth producing sound, but complex things like
hexter just segfault. That's the current state (of my local sources, not
cvs, as I haven't committed). I expect to move on these days, and have
some good news.
You really don't need to build the ladspa or dssi sdk (it is really only
header files with examples for usage). Everything you need is included
with the csound package (even the headers are included in the
distribution), so you really shouldn't need anything else. What errors
are you getting?
Another point I wish to raise: What are the implications of including
GPL headers like lo.h and ladspa.h? I think that would mean that I would
have to licence my code as GPL, and if the library is used then csound
also becomes GPL, right? I don't mind, but maybe a warning on compile
and maybe at runtime would be in order?
Cheers,
Andrés
