Hi All,

Another IDE note: CDT 1.2 just came out for the Eclipse programming
environment (this is my favorite and current programming environment as
it has great CVS support across the board for visualizing diffs and
repository history, great for Java as it has nice great refactoring
tools, as well as nice to code in for python and PHP too).

Anyways... sorry for those that this doesn't apply to. I think I'm just
excited to have found IDE's on Linux for c/c++ development that I'm
working well with. =)

I just noticed it too this weekend, and was going ask csound
developers about it. I can tell you that there are many Java
developers in my company that happily use Eclipse, however, as I
understand, unlike the Java part, the C++ plugin only works on Linux.

I just checked and the CDT plugin is available for windows. Under the
CDT downloads page (accessible from http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/), it's a
bit down the list but it's there. I'll be updating to 1.2 today and
will try out some compiles.
