| I have added a simple application, as an example (and
test) of the Java API to examples/java. This app is much
simpler than the CsoundEditor, but shows the basic transport
functionality of the API, and can be the basis for more
complex
explorations. You can perhaps try it out and comment.
Since I am not a Java programmer, it took me longer to make
it,
but I think someone with Java should be able to knock out a
custom Csound frontend in one afternoon. The wrappers are
a very good resource and I am happy Michael has made the
effort
to provide them.
Perhaps other people who are more into Java will be able to
bring us other examples, which can be added to the
repository.
Similarly, we could have some Python frontend examples,
starting from simple ones that can be typed into the
interpreter.
