| My point is this: The build should include (by default) the audio IO that
the particular platform of Csound is looking for (by default). Thus, if
Csound on Linux is looking for portaudio, it should include portaudio; or
the same for ALSA.
SoaS Csound (Fedora11) does not work this way: it looks for portaudio by
default, yet does not contain it.
