Hi, I've finished adding an info tag for all opcode entries, to be able to automatically generate the quick reference appendix (see MiscQuickref.html). The main reason for doing this is not to keep the quick reference updated, but to always have an updated and standardized file which front ends can parse to generate their code completion and help menus. It was a lot of work, so please use it! If it needs some refinement, please let me know. Also, please remember to include an info tag whenever you add an opcode entry to the docs, so the opcode is properly categorized in the quick reference. Cheers, Andres Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security? ok cool. looks good. don't know if it's easy to do, but what about having all the opcodes be a link to their associated page? and how about some links at top or a side frame or something as a table of contents? thanks, m On Jul 3, 2006, at 6:28 PM, Andres Cabrera wrote: > Hi Matt, > The file will be in the next release, but here is the current version. > > > Cheers, > Andres > On Sun, 2006-07-02 at 20:15 -0700, matt ingalls wrote: >> thanks for doing this andres!!!!!! >> >> i assume http://www.csounds.com/manual/html/MiscQuickref.html >> hasn't been updated yet? >> >> On Jul 1, 2006, at 3:08 PM, Andres Cabrera wrote: >> >>> Hi, >>> I've finished adding an info tag for all opcode entries, to be >>> able to >>> automatically generate the quick reference appendix (see >>> MiscQuickref.html). Hi Matt, The main purpose of the reorganization of the quick reference is to keep it automatically updated, but also so that front ends can use the updated version for their help menus or whatever. I'm interested to know if the new version is useful for this purpose. As to links, the next manual release will include a new frames version, based on Michael Mossey'ś frames version, which has a sidebar and is alphabetically organized. It would be nice if the quickreference had links, but maybe this can make parsing more difficult?
