I think I'm going to stop for now regarding audio drivers, as I've
spent a lot of time and it's getting frustrating.  Since it's been
this way a while and only now is anyone coming across any issues, my
guess is we all tend to create projects that have silence at the end
of the project anyways, so mostly not a big deal.  Also because render
to disk is completely fine, I'm going to move back to looking at the
parser.

(I'll wait for retag to check in the fix for optional args and no-arg opcodes.)
