The beta was valuable in my view, but it did not last long enough. More timer for user feedback, i.e. a month or so, would have been much more useful. After all, the only real reason for a beta release is just that: get it out to users and use their feedback to get rid of bugs.

I strongly agree with this releasing schedule...It shall contribute to help 
new users and risk takers to choose their version...But, I think that it is 
important that all the platforms be available...At least, the most used 
since it is not all users that compile their Csound....
