Subject[Cs-dev] Csound 5.18
Is tagged -- one minor fix since in po/italian.po which is not
serious.
I have uploaded sources, manuals and builds on SuSE and Debian.
I will shortly be opening these files and announce to csound list.

Any packages for OSX, Window, iOS or android most welcome

I am updating dependencies for the Windows installer right now. I also
have other things I must do. The installer will be ready sometime in
the next few days...

Mike

SubjectRe: [Cs-dev] Csound 5.18
Hi All,

A couple issues:

1. Android examples are very unstable here. I'm going to hold of on
release thing until the code can be fixed for a number of the examples
(Iain McCurdy's Haiku IV not running (more on this later), Waveview
crashing, accelerometer example needs updating, removing @Override's,
NullPointerException on example close, etc.).

2. Csound fails to operate with Iain McCurdy's Haiku IV. This occurs
on Desktop OSX, iOS, and Android. The file used for testing can be
grabbed here:

http://csound.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=csound/csound5.git;a=blob_plain;f=iOS/Csound+iOS+Examples/Csound+iOS+Examples/ViewControllers/CsoundHaiku4/IV.csd;hb=HEAD

Error received are of the form:

new alloc for instr reverb:
  rtevent: T 0.279 TT 0.279 M: 0.00000 0.00000
new alloc for instr hboscil_note:
INIT ERROR in instr 2: illegal table length
ipch	table.i	#i5	ginotes	0	0	0
		   T 0.279 - note deleted. i2 (hboscil_note) had 1 init errors

I do not know what changed between 5.17.11 and 5.18 to cause this.

Since the problem exists on OSX, iOS, and Android, I will hold off
until this can be resolved, and recommend skipping 5.18.00 and release
5.18.01 with a fix for this.

Thanks!
steven

So it depends if hsboscil is a power of two oscilator or not. The manual
looks silent and I have never used it so no idea what it should be.
