Hi all (sorry for the double post)

I was also wondering if there is a way to load a sound-file into an ftable
but automatically adjust the length of the table to be a power of two
closest to the actual size of the file. I hope that makes sense!

Do you mean as in the [@1234] syntax or do you mean without any prior
information about the sound file?

Hi,

I meant without any prior knowledge. Maybe there is a better way to do this:
I am trying to make a csound instrument similar to the RADICAL scrub over
head in CDP that imitates a tape scrub effect where you can define the
minimum and maximum transposition (tape speed). I suppose the best way to do
this is to use the table opcode and then use a linseg or something to do the
scrubbing?
