I would prefer to wait and use CVS. However, it may also be worth considering a move to another site or to another version control system such as Subversion.

I think that we have finally established a significant presence at
Sourceforge, and migrating to another host would mean more lost time
figuring out how everything will work.

I am not aware of any Subversion clients for MacOS 9, but I can look into it
if others are serious about switching.  The lack of a usable client though
would probably discourage me from further contributing to the public source
code repository.
