Does this mean that ASIO is no longer the required driver for Windows
Csound5?

Hi Art,

I haven't been following the Windows stuff for a while as I had problems 
getting Michael's releases to work as well as could not compile until 
about a week and a half ago or so.  I've been under the impression that 
ASIO works well and is the recommended way to go at the moment, and that 
MME works but not very well.  I didn't think ASIO was required.  I've 
been out of the loop; am I required to use ASIO?  I believe that CS5 
should work at least reasonably as well if not better than CS4 when 
released, and that requiring ASIO would be not be acceptable at release 
time (while for now would be understandable as development is happening).
