for some reason on my new system ( gentoo pure 64 bit ) root can't run binaries from usr/local/bin without specifying the full path name. I must be missing something obvious, anyone? > As root, is /usr/local/bin in your $PATH? (echo $PATH) You're right it wasn't, duh! Wonder why that changed in gentoo? Previously I'm pretty sure I did not have to add it to my path. weird. Subject | [Cs-dev] Windows Installer... |
Hi everyone. I'm currently working on a project that is dependent on the 32-bit opcodes. I was holding out until a windows installer was available but I would really like to release it soon. If there is an installer on the way that supports the 32-bit opcodes I'll wait a little longer. If not, I'll have to prepare some documentation so that users will know that they have to install Istvan's original zip file from the csounds.com site before they can run my software. Is there going to be a 32-bit version available soon? Also, I don't want to throw any spanners in the works for those of you working on windows installers, but what's wrong with just bundling Istvan's original zip file that appears on the csounds.com site into a windows .exe installer? It contains everything one needs? regards, Rory. P.S. My project is dependant on the 32-bit opcodes because I(I, in italics...) don't currently have time to develop a 64-bit version, so I can completely understand if developers of a 32-bit windows installer don't have time either; I would just like to know one way of the other. It goes without saying that I am forever grateful to those involved in producing a windows installer one way or the other! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
