Thanks for the info, Dave.

I'll need to wait for Michael's installer; hopefully that will straighten
things out.

I found my system lacked msvcr80.dll, downloaded it, added it to \system32,
then alternately to Csound \bin and \plugins. No improvement; in \plugins, a
warning box came up about trying to load something it wasn't supposed to
(like msvcr80.dll, probably) - otherwise same result.
