SubjectRe: [Cs-dev] Loris
I do not believe there exists a Csound configuration script -- this would be analogous to fltk.config, and would tell autotools (autoconf, automake, libtool) how to configure to build software that uses the Csound API.

I liked Loris, but the developers of Loris seemed to have no interest in maintaining a Windows build system for Loris. I don't have time to do that on top of what I do for Csound, so I quit maintaining the Loris opcodes.

The ATS opcodes appear to offer a lot of the same functionality. Have you tried them?

Alternatively, it would probably not be too hard to get the Loris opcodes building for you.

My approach on Windows was to copy the Loris tree into the Csound opcodes/Loris directory and just run the Csound SCons build. That should work on Linux as well. In that case, the Csound build system would build a subset (actually, most) of Loris in the form of the Loris opcode DLL _loris.dll, which also be the Loris Python extension library that could be used (in Python) to analyze sounds and morph them using Python. That would be _loris.so on Linux.

Sorry this is not all clearer.

Regards,
Mike
