The sourceforge download page http://csound.sourceforge.net/ 
#Downloads  lists
Csound5.08-OSX10.4-Intel.tar.g   not     Csound5.08beta-OSX10.4- 
Intel.tar.gz   which it is.
Perhaps the other packages at that addr. are also betas. Can someone  
put a note to that effect on that page and/or change it when the non- 
beta versions go up?
