Yes, it should be possible.

I typically have a -b50 -B100 for "normal" complexity orchestras,
lower for simple setups,
and might go up to -b200 -B400 for complex processing.
on winXP.

OK. I will have a new PC tomorow, I will try with power of two for  
the buffers sizes.

Is there a way to tell Csound to run with a higher priority on  
Windows (like 'nice' on Unix)?
