Summary: OS X framework install location is hardcoded

It is currently not possible to install the framework anywhere other than /Library/Frameworks. This should be configurable. Installing the framework also should not ignore instdir as it currently does.

Message:
There is no 'installation from sources' on OSX currently (ie. we do
not support it). The OSX binary releases are set to be always installed in
the same location to facilitate third-party frontend development.
