Having a few days for building and testing packages is useful, so
tagging could be done on something like 03/06/06 (Saturday), or
maybe even Friday. But the exact dates also depend on how progress
is made finishing any remaining work on the sources, like the
CsoundVST and csound5gui changes by Michael Gogins.

By the way, someone requested a Debian package on the cSounds.com
forums. I do not have a distribution that uses .deb packages,
but if someone could contribute one, it would be really welcome.
Using the mkpackage.py script (with changing target directories
etc. as required by the distribution), it is possible to create
the same set of release files as those found in the .rpm package
(the manual, a few documentation files, and any custom shared
libraries for FLTK etc. still need to be added manually to the
package, though).
