Wait, so you're saying that build should not proceed if a build target is set to build but the library's dependencies are not met? That makes sense to me. There really should be a header check for all libraries used anyways, then if the dependency isn't found, maybe we can do a message like "Target x set to build but dependency y not found. Please install dependency y or disable target x.".
