I agree here with Istvan. The example as I undertsood it was as Istvan understood it, one for demoing the API with Java. The reason I mentioned and ant build.xml file is that is the most common build too for Java programmers, and if a Java programmer wants to use the API, using ant is going to be more natural and easier for them to use than make or scons. I met Victor this morning but only briefly but will raise the point next time I see him to see if we can't all get on the same page on this.
