It is good news that the current beta code works correctly, although another question is if 5.01 was really broken. The efficiency issues could possibly be improved by running the JACK server (and maybe Csound as well) with a higher priority, or experimenting with the buffer sizes. > By the way, I updated tonight and scons does appear to > be still checking for FLTK 1.1.7, as I can't get csound5GUI > to build here. I did not mean that the 1.1.5 compatibility changes have been committed to CVS, but rather that you can change your local sources (by using the modified .fl files attached previously, and removing the FLTK version check at around line 1402 of SConstruct) so that it becomes possible to compile with older versions of FLTK. I may consider reworking those parts of the GUI that depend on 1.1.7 if the Mac compile problems are not solved, but the changes in the replacement .fl files are more of a quick workaround. By the way, SourceForge seems to be down again: I either cannot connect at all, or get "permission denied" as if I the password was wrong. ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
