Ugh, I've been trying out different things and now am in the strange
situation where the test file seems to consistently click, while my
actual music project does not, even though my project has other
instruments going on and is running from within blue (which adds an
overhead).  So obviously something is not making sense anymore to me.
Since it seems things are working just fine now in my music project,
I'm going to just accept it as something strange that happened and
just move on.
