Hi, I found 'mkdb.c' in the sources (and I see it in the manual), and I thought it might be useful. It's not built by default, but it was easy to do so. As soon as I tried it, though, it crashed with a segfault. A little experimentation showed that the crash was when it tried to read certain (most?) plugin libraries. libosc.so, for example, gets processed, libsignalflowgraph.so crashes it. I was trying all this in my Haiku build, so I thought it might be a bug in the dlopen code or something there. I have a running downloaded 5.17 csound in Ubuntu, though, so I took mkdb.c and the H directory over there. It compiled without problem, but crashes -- and works -- with exactly the same libraries! Is it working for other folks? Did I miss something? Or is it just not used very much?
