I've been wondering what's best for blocking custom.py.  One way would
be to remove custom.py and put something like example-custom.py which
end users could copy as custom.py to use.  That way the original never
really needs to be edited.  Otherwise, you can just add the file to
.cvsignore (just a text file named .cvsignore in the directory that
has files you'd like to ignore for cvs to process).  An example of one
would be to add one in the root csound5 directory with these contents:

.cvsignore
custom.py

That will ignore both the custom.py file as well as the .cvsignore
file itself (don't want to check that in unless it really contains
files that will always be ignore, like object files)
