I'm for waiting to check this new opcode out myself.  Then again, I'm
not involved with any of the builds, so it doesn't really affect me in
that regard. =)

Also, I spent time yesterday to look into this bug:

Yet after looking at the patch for a while and studying the code it
was patching up, I didn't see how it did anything, and I wasn't quite
sure how to test it, so will not being moving forward to apply the
patch.
