Hadn't done a cvs  checkout in a couple of months. (11/17/06)

I typically don't have any problem compiling but can't seem to get
past this error:

Any suggestion are appreciated. I am on Gentoo Linux. I have a working
installation, so none of this is that critical for me.  I just was
going over my build process in anticipation of making a wiki entry for
 Gentoo Linux Installation.
