Hi Victor,

I was not suggesting that it is a pvsfreez bug :-) In fact I am now using csound 5.4 and the same csd runs without any glitches. It does however seem to be a more general problem and a fix would be nice (although I have no idea what could be causing it and I don't have the programing knowledge to look into it!).

Thanks
Peiman

I don't think it's a pvsfreeze bug. I have commented out the
'blueEffect' lines in your CSD, and the click is still there.

I noticed that the csound printout shows 0.0 amp for one ksmps
block at 4.422:

new alloc for instr 5:
B  0.000 ..  1.234 T  1.234 TT  1.234 M:  11736.0  11828.0
new alloc for instr 2:
B  1.234 ..   2.516 T  2.516 TT  2.516 M:  10836.0  11832.0
new alloc for instr 3:
B  2.516 ..  4.422 T  4.422 TT  4.422 M:  10852.0  11832.0
new alloc for instr 4:
B  4.422 ..  4.422 T  4.422 TT  4.422 M:      0.0      0.0
B  4.422 .. 20.063 T 20.063 TT 20.063 M:  11736.0  11832.0
Score finished in csoundPerform().
inactive allocs returned to freespace
end of score.              overall amps:  11736.0  11832.0
overall samples out of range:        0        0

And looking at the waveform, that's what I saw. The reason why
change ksmps changes the click is because it will change the
length of your zeroed block.

The blue CSD is very hard to read, so I could not isolate the
problem. I only know it's not pvsfreeze.
