Hi John, I had wanted to move towards the larger goal in small steps; generating into the current directory matches the behavior as it is now so other scripts which depended on the binaries being located in the top dir would continue to work. There would be steps after to build the files into different directories. On the other hand, I'm finding the SConstruct file to be very verbose at the moment and after an hour of hacking at this, half of which to just clean up the SConstruct file a little bit, I think I'll give up for now on the directory reorganization as I won't have time to work on it enough to get it done in a timely fashion. What I am going to do in a moment though is do a few little cleanups to SConstruct to make it a bit easier to read and reduce some of the coding redundancy. That change should be a bit less controversial I think, and it sets it up for easier changes to use BuildDIr later. (So, an even smaller step first!)
