Hi John, I don't know which is the best order, as I tend to define things like ftables using ftgen syntax in the orc while probably more people use the f-statement in the sco. Beyond ftables though, there are places in orc code where one would define a path (for instance loading a soundfont). So I would think ORC first than SCO. I don't think it's very likely but certainly possible that two files with the same name would be located relative to the ORC and the SCO (if they are different directories). On the other hand, if one uses a single master orc file and multiple sco's for different pieces, then the SCO preference might be preferred. But that would be a problem only if different files exist with the same name relative to the files.
