After I ran cleanup.sh, I was not able to compile with bufferoverflow=0. To enable compiling with bufferoverflow=1, I added this to custom.py: customLIBPATH.append('C:/Program Files/Microsoft Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 R2/Lib') Does this seem like the correct version of bufferoverflowu ? For intel dual core. best Oeyvind 2008/7/1, victor : > I do and there seems to be no problem. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Oeyvind Brandtsegg" > To: "Developer discussions" > Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 11:10 PM > Subject: [Cs-dev] buffer overflow > > > > Now, when I try to compile Csound with bufferoverflowu set to 1, > > I get an error: > > c:\msys\1.0\mingw\bin\..\lib\gcc\mingw32\3.4.2\..\..\..\..\mingw32\bin\ld.exe: > > cannot find -lbufferoverflowu > > > > But it compiles fine with bufferoverflowu set to 0, even if I'm sure I > > have some MSVC precompiled libraries (libsndfile, fltk, portmidi, > > ...). > > > > Is this a problem, or can I happily leave bufferoverflowu at 0 ? > > > > Oeyvind > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > > just about anything Open Source. > > http://sourceforge.net/services/buy/index.php > > _______________________________________________ > > Csound-devel mailing list > > Csound-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/csound-devel > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > just about anything Open Source. > http://sourceforge.net/services/buy/index.php > _______________________________________________ > Csound-devel mailing list > Csound-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/csound-devel > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
