Hi John,

dam still needs a revisit IMO.  I had scheduled myself to do so but am
in the middle of a number of things.  I will try to take a stab at it
today, but will want to have other eyes checking as I'm not overly
familiar with the code.

Beyond that, there is a bug with very long tables in the bug tracker
on Sourceforge here:

ant it looks like someone else found a bug with parsing and submitted
a patch to another bug:

which I had not seen before.  Has anyone applied this patch?

Also, perhaps post-release, we can clean up this bug database of ones
no longer applicable?
