With all this hostility, I could just quit Csound development and leave all the work that I done previously to you, but I would rather not. Perhaps I will just filter your posts. > Ok i went through the code i checked in today and Istvan messed around > with EVERYTHING i contributed, including one file where all he did was > DELETE A SPACE in a comment! Ever thought that this type of change is done by an automated script that is run on all source files, and is not some kind of personal attack ? > and i really think those "early return" messages should NOT be displayed > on ANY platform -- they look like an error but there should be > nothing wrong with that at least when csoundYield returns false as > a "please stop now" request. You may have a point about this, but I think the message should be printed when the performance is aborted for some reason (like calling Die() on an error), so that users know that there was an error, rather than normal end of score; in any case, this is definitely not the most useless one of the lots of messages printed. Also, other hosts tend to stop performance by simply not calling the "perform" functions, rather than using a yield callback. _______________________________________________ Csound-devel mailing list Csound-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
