The documentation for these is all wrong.  There's a missing iphs parameter and the order of the time, value pairs, should be value, duration pairs as in linseg for instance.

The iphase parameter was indeed missing from loopseg and loopxseg; and also
from lpshold.
This has been corrected.  

I do not believe the comment about the order of time/value which seems to
me correct and also works.

I have added a little more checking into the csound code

Leaving this open for a while to see if anyone disagrees about the
time/value aspect
