Yes, I've been trying to figure out how to compile portausio with ASIO support using minGW, and still no luck... Compiling Portaudio without ASIO is fine using minGW (but that's kind of not very useful for realtime work anyway.) It would be nice to be able to compile all libraries with minGW, as we would not depend on m*cr*s*ft changes. That is because this software, as downloaded, comes with Visual C++ project files and does not as easily configure or build with MinGW. > > Visual C++ Service Pack 1, which introduced this problem, is recent. > > Regards, > Mike > > -----Original Message----- > >From: Rory Walsh > >Sent: Nov 8, 2007 11:07 AM > >To: Developer discussions > >Subject: Re: [Cs-dev] OSC on Windows float installers > > > >Would there be the same problems if Csound was being built with MinGW, > >just curious. > > > >Rory. > > > > > > > >Michael Gogins wrote: > >> Thanks for the information, this saves me time and trouble.
