Using the SourceForge FTP directly might be OK too, although having
the uploaded files available to all developers may improve the chances
of finding and fixing packaging errors before the files are made
publicly available. Also, while it may not be the case for everyone,
but I found that when uploading to the SourceForge FTP server, the file
transfers are often aborted before being completed.
