Hi, I just ran into what seems to be new behaviour in 5.19 (since 5.17.6 anyway). Playing with my new installation, I dug out somebody's old csd file that I'd run successfully before, but now it didn't work. (For one thing, the new parser doesn't like statements that end with a comma! This caught me on one of my own files before, though, so I was aware of it. Is it mentioned anywhere?) The main problem was that the file was read, and csound started, but apparently nothing from the section had been read. (missing tables etc.) After chasing down several paths -- the file ran in 5.17.6, it ran if separated into orc and sco, and so on -- I eventually noticed that the closing "" was missing the "/"! Putting that in made everything work properly. Even though this was obviously an error in the original file, which seems to have slipped past earlier versions of Csound, I think it really ought to report the error, rather than just sitting there. Especially as it's one of those typos that is impossible to see, however hard you stare at the text! -- Pete -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
